Does Emsisoft Anti-Malware work as an antivirus? I want to install only Emsisoft Anti-Malware on my machine, no more antivirus. Does it enough? Can it protect me from lots of virus around the word. Or which antivirus I could install beside Emsisoft Anti-Malware to improve protection on my machine?

Emsisoft not detecting USB autorun virus
Hi All,
I though Emsisoft has USB protection. But today I plugged in one of my friend's USB drive and it did nothing.
When I did right click scan it detected three High Risk item including Autorun.inf
Is anyone else facing similar issue? Strange that it does not have basic protection,
I am running windows 8.1 with Emsisoft Antimalware ( version 9.0.0.4799)

Is Emsisoft Anti-Malware Full protection or do I need a seperate firewall?
Is Emsisoft Anti-Malware 9 Full protection or do I need a separate firewall? From their website it appears it has everything but a firewall, so it would be an adjunct (Similar to MalwareBytes Premium) to a traditional Security Suite.
I was thinking ESET SS8 + EAM 9 = Good to go.

I've won the Emsisoft IS giveaway conducted by Malwaretips and got a key...I was using ESET SS...I changed to EMSISOFT IS ystrday...After installing the latest version EMSISOFT IS i startd getting BSOD errors and my lappy restarted several times..I dont kw whether its the problem with my laptop or Emsisoft IS...I hav installed ESS again and now it works fine..I'm disappointed with EMSISOFT IS..

I was a Big fan of Emsisoft. I got few major problems with Emsisoft IS.
1. After installing Emsisoft IS my internet connection was not working. I had to disable and enable firewall to get access to network. I was on with that.
2. yesterday full day I was not able to work because I was getting constant pop-up from emsisoft IS. Even if I am clicking allow or block the same pop-up was not going away. I had to uninstall it with no choice.
Now irritated by Emsisoft IS I though of...
